Yesterday Apple unveiled its new tech including the new MacBook and Watch. This unveiling was streamed, live, from the Apple site. It worked seamlessly through Safari and not so well, sometimes, not at all, through Google Chrome (how typically Apple).

The new MacBook has transformed into a 2 pound wonder with retina display and, of course, new ports for charging your now 9 hour battery.

The biggest unveil was the The Edition collection of Apple Watch. Starting price? $10,000.

That’s not so bad considering other watch prices out there. However, as multiple Twitter users pointed out, you can hand down a Rolex as an heirloom. The Apple Watch will surely be outdated 5 years from now.

So with that as inspiration, here’s a list of things that cost less and will last longer than The Edition:
