There are so many ways to connect to the consumer now, big time companies are sometimes ill-advised in their attempts to get their message out there.
There are whole departments and independent advertising agencies devoted to creating integrated marketing plans. However, building a robust plan with successful implementation is extremely difficult, but, hey, if it wasn’t, we wouldn’t be talking about it.
There are an immeasurable amount of ways to correctly advertise a business and even more ways to mess it up. Ironically, marketers are constantly getting in trouble with messages 140 characters or less. That’s right, Twitter is the space where misguided messages never die, much to the dismay of their creators.
The strategy behind social media in terms of a business tool has evolved tremendously over the past 10 years. Most companies now have an employee, or team of employees, behind every tweet, Instagram and Facebook post their respective companies issue.
